YPulse’s biannual Media Consumption report updates media and non-media brands on what young people are watching today. While these gens are big on social media, especially TikTok for Gen Z, Netflix captures more screens each week. But that doesn’t mean social media isn’t huge in captivating young audiences—we share how brands can use social media to promote viewership of full-length content too.
In this year’s report, YPulse dives into the content genres and platforms young people are watching weekly, what devices parents say they’re kids are watching content on most (no, not smartphones or tablets), and how media brands can reach specific audiences (POC, LGBTQ+, parents).
