Food Shopping and Trends Report
Is fast food a splurge spend now? With prices increasing across both the grocery store and takeout menus, young people are finding themselves budgeting for a fun meal, even if that’s the newest drive-thru item. But they still want brands to dish them up something interesting and new, from global food trends to prep hacks to brand new flavors. And to make it a social media win, brands really need to be on top of what’s trending—like knowing that “all natural” isn’t the must-have right now.
In this year’s Food Shopping and Trends report, YPulse discusses how many young people do the grocery shopping in their households, how important specific product labeling like “organic” is to them, and how food brands and restaurants can engage young consumers through their marketing efforts.
