YPulse’s 2021 Music Report indicated that the pandemic broadened young consumers’ music tastes encouraging them to branch out of their go-to genres. And while the pandemic is in the rearview mirror, Gen Z and Millennials continue to explore new and diverse music—specifically through social media. Not only are they listening to music, but they’re also using it to aid with mental wellness and self-expression.
In this year’s Music Report, YPulse will explore what platforms young consumers are using to discover new music, how music affects their overall livelihood, and the type of events that are making its way back into their lives.
