Kraft is catering to nostalgic Millennial parents.In its new digitally focused campaign, Kraft is tapping into ‘90s nostalgia with a series of TV spots, digital OOH banners, and social media ads in hopes of capturing the attention (and sentimentality) of Millennials looking to pass their cheesy memories onto their own kids. Nostalgia has been big with young consumers for a while now and while many brands are tapping into Gen Z’s love of all things Y2K, others are looking back even further in time to reach Millennials. McDonald’s, for instance, recently reintroduced their Halloween Boo Buckets while Oreo released mixtape-themed cookie packs. YPulse’s Brand Loyalty report shows 74% of Millennial parents agree “I’m more loyal to brands that I used growing up,” and brands like Kraft marketing towards them now are certainly aiming to make sure the same is true of their young Gen Z and Gen Alpha kids.
