YouTube is debuting more kids’ content in 2022. We told you that YouTube has been creating a variety of content to reach kids and their families, and it’s a top platform that Millennial parents say their children are watching weekly. The company just announced four new original series and renewals, including 20 more projects that are currently in development, to add to its kids’ and family offerings. Mindful Adventures of Unicorn Island is an animated series debuting in 2023, created and hosted by Lilly Singh, about a young Lilly and her imaginary friends; The Big Tiny Food Face-Off premieres in July and is a competition series starring kids creating tiny dishes; Jam Van is a travel and musical series for preschoolers; and Buster’s BIG Halloween is an animated series about a yellow bus. Meanwhile, on the renewal front, Tab Time starring vegan TikToker Tabitha Brown is returning for a second season that will feature 10 new 22-minute episodes. (Kidscreen)
