Groupon is hosting a giveaway granting one lucky winner a chance to party with their friends at an NFL player’s home. As brands continue spicing up their 2022 Super Bowl advertising, Groupon is hosting a “Party Like A Player” contest where one winner will score a chance to party at Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski’s Massachusetts mansion while he’s away on Super Bowl Sunday. The winner will be flown to Boston and can bring up to 15 friends with them. Consumers can enter the contest daily via the Groupon app and microsite, and fans who don’t end up winning the mansion party can win other experiences by entering the contest. Groupon says the experiential activation is aimed at building excitement for in-person activities. Brands have been creating in-person experiences for young consumers throughout the pandemic via themed getaways, drive-thrus, and distanced pop-ups, and Groupon’s “Party Like A Player” activation is one way to get young sports fans hyped for the Super Bowl.
