IShowSpeed’s World Cup song is now an unofficial anthem.

IShowSpeed’s World Cup song is now an unofficial anthem. Days before the World Cup, released a song and music video called “World Cup (Champions)” in which he sings about national pride and mentions all 48 competing teams. Young fans became so obsessed with the song that FIFA even added it to its official album for the tournament. In many ways, this represents how young people are consuming sports in general. Instead of TV or streaming services, Gen Z and Gen Alpha are drawn to creators who are their own media platforms. IShowSpeed has already made headlines and drawn eyes to the tournament with his massive World Cup tour livestreams—which we’d expect, considering YPulse data shows he ranks seventhamong 13-24-year-olds’ top 10 favorite content creators. Coach created a new content series for Gen Z called “&Coach.”

Coach created a new content series for Gen Z called “&Coach.” Dubbed “a new model for luxury storytelling,” &Coach features a range of prominent young figures including Charli XCX, Malala Yousafzai, PinkPantheress, Avantika Vandanapu, and many more. Each spot shows the celeb—with a Coach bag in tow, of course—navigating their unique industry, like K-Pop girl group KiiiKiii getting ready backstage for their first performance and Paige Bueckers getting ready for a WNBA game. &Coach will feature other celebrities across industries in the future as part of Coach’s effort to promote authenticity and inspire confidence. The campaign will be featured on Coach’s social media accounts, including two new dedicated &Coach accounts created on TikTok and Instagram. (WWD)

Bumble created a new YouTube dating advice show.

Bumble created a new YouTube dating advice show. The brand knows all about young people’s complicated relationship with dating apps—even though they’re central to dating now, Gen Z isn’t crazy about them. And as the number of its paying user base and revenue continues to dip, the show is an effort to rebuild its relationship with young people. (Again.) “Bee Line” will have a rotating cast of talent who will answer crowdsourced questions sent from real people via social media or Bumble branded phone booths in New York City and Los Angeles, making it experiential too. Gen Z comedian and influencer Jake Shane will be the host of the first episode. YPulse data shows Bumble ranks below Tinder, Hinge, and Facebook Dating on the platforms 18-39-year-olds use, so turning to true entertainment could provide the reach it needs. (Marketing Dive)

A new free online tool can identify AI-generated music on Spotify, Apple Music, and more.

A new free online tool can identify AI-generated music on Spotify, Apple Music, and more. Even though AI-generated music has infiltrated streaming and social media platforms, big music streamers haven’t launched AI music detection tools yet for those who want to weed it out. That’s where Deezer’s new AI music detection tool comes in. Users can scan their playlists on 20 of the most popular streaming services to see if any of the songs have been generated with AI. Young people have a complicated relationship with AI—and replacing human creativity is where they’re less interested in seeing it. YPulse’s 2025 Music report shows that while AI music did gain popularity over the last year, those tracks were mostly related to online jokes and memes more so than legit favorites. (TechCrunch)
