Causes/Charity & Activism Report

At this point, social causes and issues are always on the minds of young consumers. Gen Z and Millennials have made it abundantly clear that they will advocate for the causes and issues they support and care about. But the questions is, how do young consumers determine which social cause is most important? And how do they want brands to show they care beyond a social media post?

YPulse’s 2025 Causes/Charity & Activism report explores Gen Z and Millennials’ attitudes towards various social issues, how they make charitable donations, and how they expect brands to get involved.

  • How many young people are passionate about mental health, poverty, and human rights this year
  • What social causes / issues are top of mind for teens, young adults, and Millennials
  • How young consumers want to see brands get involved with causes
