Dove Men+Care is opening the men’s mental health dialogue with rugby stars. The brand brought together rival athletes Johhny Sexton, Ellis Genge, Greig Laidlaw, and Sam Warburton for a sit-down conversation about mental health, although they didn’t know who they’d be sitting down with prior to the meet-up. This “neutral ground” short film aims to open up a candid dialogue about men’s mental health not only between the players, as they shared common experiences and struggles from their careers, but all male consumers as well. YPulse data shows Dove is one of the top brands Gen Z deems inclusive, and the brand is clearly not narrowing its empowerment efforts toward women, showing its authentic dedication to the cause.
