When it comes to a brand’s advertising, we know Gen Z and Millennials can spot inauthenticity from a mile away—and they know which brands really follow through on their diversity and inclusion promises. In YPulse’s Ad / Marketing Effectiveness report, we asked 13-39-year-olds what a brand needs to do to reflect diversity and be inclusive and their top response was “Featuring diverse models and actors in ads,” followed up by “Create products and services that cater to a diverse range of consumers.” And for years, Dove has been doing just that—but they continue to press forward with new ways to show it, which is helping them win the affinity of young consumers.
