Gen Z and Millennials are more likely to be “techno-optimists.” According to an Axios-Momentive poll, young consumers are leading the adoption of trending tech, from smart-home devices to electric vehicles. The poll found seven out of 10 young adults say they’d drive an electric car if they could afford it, more than half of 18-24-year-olds want drones to deliver to their homes, and 63% of Gen Z want smart devices for their homes. Additionally, 82% of 18-24-year-olds support allowing electric scooters, e-bikes, and e-skateboards in public places. YPulse’s Future Tech Forecast trend research found that 89% of 13-37-year-olds say technology makes their lives easier, driving them to be early adopters compared to generations before them. (Axios)
