Nike is saying “Just Feel It” as it prioritizes mental health via its Mind Sets platform. For decades, “Just Do It” has been the mantra of Nike. Now, the athletic brand is embracing how mental wellness ties into physical health with its Mind Sets platform. The platform is described as “a movement series designed for the mind…an uplifting program that focuses on how you feel, not what you achieve,” and is launching globally across Nike’s social channels, website, and apps. Mind Sets features exercise routines and experiences to help consumers improve their mental health, like an audio guided walk-and-run program and a podcast about burnout. Nike’s embrace of “Just Feel It” comes at a time when the focus on mental health is more prevalent than ever as young consumers reassess what they want out of their education, work, wellness routines—you name it. YPulse’s State of Mind trend data shows that 46% of young consumers have been exercising to take care of their mental health during COVID-19. (Adweek)
