Lil Nas X is helping Taco Bell kickoff its seventh-annual Liv Más Scholarship program. After naming Lil Nas X its Chief Impact Officer, Taco Bell is working with the artist on its next round of the Live Más Scholarship program aimed at empowering students of all backgrounds to pursue their passions. The scholarship offers up to $7 million in scholarships ($2 million is dedicated to Taco Bell team members) to students 16-26-years-old, and applicants are encouraged to “channel their inner Lil Nas X” via a two-minute video, explaining how their pursuit of higher education will help them achieve their goals. Scholarship applications don’t require students to submit grades, essays, or test scores, and winners can apply the funds from the program to a variety of learning paths. YPulse’s education research found that 56% of young consumers who are interested in college plan to use scholarships to pay for their higher education. (NRN)
