Megan Thee Stallion is officially a Popeyes franchise owner, bringing a new “Hottie Sauce” and merch with her.

Megan Thee Stallion is officially a Popeyes franchise owner, bringing a new “Hottie Sauce” and merch with her. If Megan Thee Stallion has taught us anything, it’s that her music, her product drops, and outspoken activism create powerful moments in pop culture for young fans. Now, Megan Thee Stallion is hitting the food scene after signing a deal with Popeyes that will grant her franchise rights over her own Popeyes restaurants (fans and experts are already speculating that her restaurants will be in her hometown of Houston), a new “Hottie Sauce,” and co-branded merchandise. The Hottie Sauce will be available starting tomorrow (October 19) as an add-on to Popeyes’ original chicken sandwich or as a standalone dipping sauce in the U.S. and 14 countries across the globe, and Popeyes Rewards members will earn 100 bonus points when they order an eligible Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce menu item on the app or online. Three exclusive co-branded merch collections are also dropping Tuesday, including Thee Heat collection featuring bikinis, long-sleeve shirts, hats, tumblers, and Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toys. The two additional merch collections plan to drop next month. Food merch is a popular marketing trend that snack brands and fast food joints can’t get enough of, and Megan Thee Stallion’s Popeyes deal is going straight for their fast foodie hearts. (Billboard)
