More brands are joining Roblox to reach young consumers. Roblox is one of the social platforms we said to watch in 2021, and according to the company, 37 million people use it everyday across 180 countries. Forty-four percent are over 13-year-olds, but the “fastest-growing segment” is between 17-24-years-old, with nearly half identifying as female. Last year, users spent more than 30 billion hours on the platform, and it made YPulse’s ranking of the gaming platforms Millennial parents say are their kids’ favorites. As their audience continues to grow, brands are starting to follow: DC Comics, Marvel, Netflix, and Gucci are just some of the companies who are building experiences on the platform. (Adweek)
