KFC launched a gaming console to keep players’ chicken warm. Weird marketing is continuing up until the very end of 2020, and KFC is the latest to launch a new product to accommodate young gamers. The fast food chain teamed up with hardware manufacturer Cooler Master to debut “KFConsole,” a new “Intel-powered” gaming console that comes with a built-in “chicken chamber” to keep their fried chicken (and other food) warm. KFC certainly isn’t an amatuer when it comes to weird or viral marketing: They started off 2020 by collaborating with Crocs to release limited edition chicken-themed and scented clogs, and earlier this month, they partnered with Lifetime to premiere a “steamy” mini-movie starring Mario Lopez as a hot Colonel Sanders.
