Even in the middle of a pandemic, Gen Z is still trying to change the world.

May 12 2020

Even in the middle of a pandemic, Gen Z is still trying to change the world. YPulse’s exclusive COVID research found that 41% of 13-39-year-olds say their mental health has or will be negatively impacted by Coronavirus. But Gen Z has still been doing what they can to make a difference, according to a survey from DoSomething.org. They found that 64% of Gen Z have changed their consumption habits, including reducing food waste, while 39% have made something, like a mask, as a gratitude for frontline workers. Sharing tips on social distancing, and reducing isolation among seniors are some of the other actions they’re taking on too. COVID-19 has potentially made them more activated, with 31% of Gen Z saying they are more likely to vote in the upcoming election because of the crisis. (Elite Daily)
