Oscar Mayer is giving one high schooler and their friends the chance to take the Wienermobile to prom. It’s prom season—and while most high schoolers take limos to the dance, one lucky teen and their group of friends have the chance to ride up in a branded Wienermobile. Interested teens can enter to win by making an original video on TikTok or Instagram, and explaining why they should be chosen as well as details about where and when their prom is. It will be judged based on creativity and originality, and how well each video “fits within the Oscar Mayer brand theme” and is “a fun expression of the challenge.” Oscar Mayer certainly isn’t a stranger to weird marketing, and this isn’t the first time the brand offered up its Wienermobile for special occasions: in 2020, they let couples request to use it for wedding proposals.
