Dunkin’ is bringing its iconic pink and orange hues to home decor via Backdrop paint.

Dunkin’ is bringing its iconic pink and orange hues to home decor via Backdrop paint. After shifting into lifestyle brand territory through branded merchandise and home decor, Dunkin’ is launching its first paint collection. DTC paint brand, Backdrop, has turned the brand’s bright and iconic (at least in the Northeast) colors into limited-run cans of paint (available for $39) to engage with Millennials who have been DIYing their homes during the pandemic. The collaboration is helping Dunkin’ better understand its Millennial audience and enhance its offerings outside of coffee and donuts. According to YPulse’s trend research on Brandoms, 45% of 18-35-year-olds like to see their favorite brands take on other industries, and brands’ fans can be eager to snap up products that show their devotion.
