Young consumers are changing their diets for the environment.

Young consumers are changing their diets for mental health and the environment. Gen Z and Millennials are vocal about their worries about climate change and environmental issues, and they’re taking action on a personal level. According to YouGov, 20% of Millennials have changed their diets to reduce their impact on the planet, more than any older generation, while 23% of 18-24-year-olds and 22% of 25-34-year-olds say they’re willing to stop eating meat to combat climate change. Young consumers have already been fueling plant-based and dairy-free trends, and their concerns about the environment could make them long-lasting shifts. (YouGov)
