Tech / Device Usage Report
Entertainment value is an essential factor in deciding which devices Gen Z and Millennials are racking up the hours on—like smartphones, TVs, and gaming consoles. But while these gens love a good bedrotting session in front of a screen, they also realize the benefits of taking breaks from tech. So, many are following the trend (ironically on socials) to unplug and mentally reset (even if only for a couple hours). However, the analog tech trends like flip phones and landlines that could get them away from the screen are not quite as big as they’re made out to be.
In this year’s report, YPulse’s Tech / Device Usage Report, we share what tech Gen Z and Millennials deem “cool” right now, what recommendations drive their tech purchases, and how they feel about refurbished tech.
