Louis Vuitton is turning to Discord to grow their digital presence. The French luxury fashion brand is looking to Discord to build on its Web3 strategy and foster a deeper relationship with its NFT holders and other online communities. Louis Vuitton’s server will feature channels for virtual reality, gaming, Web3, esports and technology, and more, and members of the server will be able to see exclusive content from the brand. The founder of M7 Innovations, which specializes in luxury brands and Web3 fashion strategy tracking, says “It is so directionally correct for the future of brand and consumer communications.” YPulse predicted in 2022 that brands would be revamping their Web3 experiences this year to focus on loyalty—but this approach is the first of its kind.
