Pinterest is experiencing substantial user growth thanks to Gen Z. In an interview with CNBC, the platform’s CEO explained that they’ve seen “our best user growth quarter in more than two years” due to Gen Z users being their “fastest-growing cohort.” With the young gen hopping onto the social media platform, which is more and more integrating “shoppable content” into users’ feeds, a feature our research shows is highly popular with young consumers, Pinterest has seen overwhelmingly positive results. While a previous consensus predicted the company would hit $696M in revenue, they actually hit $708M. YPulse’s Social Media Monitor Report shows that 29% of Gen Z is using Pinterest. (CNBC)
