Victoria’s Secret will showcase their first adaptive collection at New York Fashion Week. As the retailer makes moves to evolve into a “for-everyone” shopping destination, their latest inclusive effort will be featured at the non-profit Runway of Dream’s show during NYFW: a collection of adaptive intimates for consumers with physical / sensory disabilities. These bra and panty additions will become part of the brand’s Body by Victoria and Pink lines and will not look noticeably different from the regular garments. Coming this October, they will be available for purchase online and in about 40 stores. YPulse research shows that 61% of Gen Z and Millennials would think positively of a brand if they featured differently-abled models in an ad—so Victoria’s Secret inclusive intimates is a step in the right direction to gaining these young gens’ support.
