Amazon is looking to small businesses to help with package deliveries. The company is in the process of working with 2,500 small businesses to deliver their packages by the end of this year. As part of Amazon’s “Hub Delivery” program, partnering companies must commit to delivering 20 to 50 packages each day using their own staff and vehicles, and will be compensated for each delivery. As of now, they are on the hunt for small business partners in 23 states, especially rural areas and cities including New York, Boston, and Los Angeles, and according to Amazon, companies can earn up to $27K yearly for their delivery services. The types of business the brand is looking to team up with range from florists and clothing boutiques, to even plumbers.
