Issa Rae is launching Fête, a new brand marketing branch of her company Hoorae. As part of her media, entertainment, and production business Hoorae Media, the actress, writer, producer, and comedian is adding a marketing division to the company. Announcing the launch at Cannes Lions Festival, Rae says that her aim with Fête is to improve inclusion within the media realm by helping brands to uplift marginalized talents. She describes that the branch will bring an “unparalleled experience that will be reflective of our communities, center Black women and further strengthen our partnerships.” The LA based company aims to maintain their standing relationships with clients while also fostering new, more inclusive ones as they expand their business. YPulse research shows that Gen Z and Millennials are more likely to think more positively of brands when they foster diversity and inclusion. (Adweek)
