Clinique and Kate Spade are coming out with a Y2K-themed lip product collection. At the start of the year, YPulse shared how the future of fashion will have everything to do with nostalgia—and it looks like that’s holding true for beauty, too. The new Clinique x Kate Spade collab will be available come June 1 and the New York Pop Plush Creamy Lip Gloss products will feature four limited-edition shades—including the TikTok viral favorite Black Honey. The collaboration of these “throwback” brands is targeting Gen Z and Millennial consumers and their consistent love of Y2K aesthetics. The two brands are known for being the name behind Millennials’ first handbags or their first makeup products and want to appeal to both nostalgic consumers and newer ones as well. (Glossy)
