Young Spanish consumers will get 50% of their train tickets reimbursed by the government to travel across Europe this summer.

May 10 2023

Young Spanish consumers will get 50% of their train tickets reimbursed by the government to travel across Europe this summer. The Interrail is a popular train ticket available to people aged between 18 and 30 years old, allowing them to travel in up to 33 European countries unlimited. Now, the Spanish government has announced plans to pay for half of the cost of Interrail passes for young people in the country this summer. The move is part of a wider government plan to support Gen Z and Millennials while encouraging domestic tourism to help the sector recover from the pandemic. YPulse recently told you how governments in Western Europe are giving cash incentives to encourage more young people to travel in the region, and now Spain is jumping on board. (The Local)
