Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen plans to open 300 restaurants in France by 2030. Popeyes started its European expansion two years ago with the opening of stores in the U.K. and Spain, and now the brand is expanding to France. The fried chicken chain is following in the footsteps of McDonald’s, which has successfully opened more than 1,400 restaurants across the country. Fast food is super popular among young French consumers, with 94% of them reporting eating at a fast-food restaurant in the past month, according to YPulse’s data. (Forbes)
