Gap is tapping into #BarbieCore in a new collab ahead of the Barbie film release. Gap has teamed with Mattel Inc. on an apparel collaboration tied to the iconic doll. The Barbie x Gap collection will officially drop next month around the movie’s release and will include “T-shirts, skirts, logo hoodies, denim, button-downs and accessories as well as pet apparel.” Each item will retail for $24-$69 and don the Barbie branding in Gap’s arch typeface. But Barbie isn’t the only character getting themed apparel, the partnership is planning a slew of other releases inspired by Mattel’s portfolio of brands, including Hot Wheels, American Girl, Thomas & Friends, Masters of the Universe, and more.
