Ebay is opening a swap shop in London where young consumers can exchange sneakers for free. YPulse told you the resale boom is happening in Western Europe and our WE Fashion Preferences and Style report shows that half of young Europeans like to shop for vintage / secondhand clothing. Jumping in on the trend, Ebay’s “Swap ‘Em Out Store” will be open for a limited time only on March 25 and require tickets to get in. The event will allow sneaker enthusiasts to “exchange their sneakers, worth more than 100 pounds, free of charge for a more coveted pair.” Plus, select visitors will have the opportunity to get a “’Top Swap,’ featuring rare and hyped silhouettes of high value such as the Nike x Off White Jordan 1 ‘Euro’ worth approximately 4,300 pounds.” (Fashion United UK)
