Egg freezing content is all over Instagram. A growing number of content creators are documenting the egg freezing process online and sharing the step-by-step process with their followers. Whether they’re simply not ready to have children right now or they’re not financially ready, many younger women are interested in freezing their eggs—and they’re looking to social media for a sense of community among other future moms who are giving a behind-the-scenes look at what egg freezing entails. YPulse’s Millennial Parent report data shows that more than a third of Gen Z and Millennial women (and 44% of 18-24-year-old females) say they’re interested in freezing their eggs. As more women discuss the process online, document medical visits, and make informational videos, the topic has become more mainstream. (Bustle)
