Berlin housing prices have skyrocketed in recent years, and it’s hindering young recruits in the tech industry. Once a cheap place to live, the German capital has become so unaffordable in recent years that it’s an obstacle to recruiting new young employees to come and live in Berlin—especially among the many tech companies that started an office there.
