Gen Z is the most stressed generation at work. Practically everyone has experienced stress in the workplace but according to new data from Cigna International Health, 91% of workers 18-to-24-years-old say they’re stressed and 98% say they are burnt-out. The data also shows that 40% of junior employees are specifically stressed about the rising cost of living. Millennials with kids under 18-years-old report being the most satisfied at work with a SCARF (status, certainty, autonomy, relatedness, and fairness) model rating of 72.4 points while Gen Z has the lowest satisfaction rate with 64.3 points. YPulse’s Mental Health report data shows that over half of Gen Z says they have a lack of energy and 21% say they feel overwhelmed with the amount of stuff they need to do at work. (BBC)
