About a third of Gen Z and Millennials aren’t afraid of dating their co-workers. A little office romance never hurt anyone, right? The HR department likely says wrong, but nevertheless, young workers don’t care. We know “situationships” are becoming a norm for Gen Z and Millennials and now they’re breaking even more relationship barriers. While dating a co-worker maybe have been considered taboo in the past, new data from the Society for Human Resource Management shows these gens “are more likely to say they would be open to a workplace romance than other generations.” YPulse research shows 28% of young people say they met a partner at work, but far more are meeting them through friends, or even social media.
