Beauty is getting bolder as rave culture and music festival goers amp up their makeup inspiration. “Rave” themed beauty products are becoming more popular and YPulse has seen the Euphoria glitter and gemstone look trend on social media. With festivals and concerts back in full swing, makeup is louder than ever. The head makeup artist behind the notorious HBO series recently launched her brand Half Magic, which features a lip kit called “Angel Rave.” The show is “the main driver” of the rave beauty trend and according to Google’s shopping data, searches for “face gems” have increased 48% over the past year. YPulse’s The In-Between Trend Report found that 16% of Gen Z and 11% of Millennials want to wear brighter makeup in 2022, and our beauty and personal care research shows 71% of young consumers say they like experimenting with different makeup looks.
