Many Millennials are living paycheck-to-paycheck. According to a PYMNTS and LendingClub report, 42% of people earning about $100,000 say they’re “just getting by” between paychecks. But Millennials are even more likely to say this is the case, with 70% living paycheck-to-paycheck compared to 54% of Baby Boomers. However, Millennials living paycheck-to-paycheck do average higher savings than other generations, with an average of $3,731. Meanwhile, Gen Z consumers who live paycheck-to-paycheck report the lowest average in savings at just $1,158. YPulse’s recent finance / spending monitor report found that 60% of Gen Z and Millennials have savings. (PYMNTS) |
