U.K. fast fashion favorite Boohoo is partnering with a neuropsychologist to create a seven day “self-love” plan in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week. Called the Body Image Cleanse, BooHoo’s campaign aims to “increase customer confidence through the promotion of habit-forming steps” developed by The Brain Coach, a mental health influencer that boasts one million followers on Instagram. The campaign will also include influencers that have undertaken the seven-day plan and will encourage their audiences to do so, too. YPulse’s WE Mental Health report shows that mental health is the top thing young Europeans say has been negatively impacted by the pandemic, and the majority say they’ve experienced burnout. Young Europeans are looking to brands to help, with 66% agreeing that brands have a responsibility to help end the mental health stigma and the number saying they like it when brands make mental health a part of their marketing and messaging.
