Denny’s is getting in on the celebrity / influencer meal game with custom menu offerings inspired by a team of a TikTok creators. McDonald’s, Dunkin’, and Burger King are just a few of the QSR brands that have been putting their own spin on celebrity meals (a.k.a. meals inspired by celebrities’ and influencers’ favorite order). Now, Denny’s is jumping on the trend through a new brand platform known as “Open for Anything” that will feature menu collaborations with 24 TikTok content creators. TikTokers were paired up based on their content niches to work with Denny’s culinary group to develop original menu items like the Get That Cookie Dough Pancakes (created with Jenny Solares and The Enky Boys), the Jala-Bac Burger (Jonathan Chavez and Elise Osafo), and the Clearly Very Fruity Pancakes (Elliott Norris and Matt Taylor). The TikTok creator-inspired meals will be available on a limited-time basis through June 21 in restaurants, online, and on the Denny’s app. McDonald’s has experienced massive success through its Famous Orders promotion, and the “Open for Anything” deal shows more brands are tapping influencers to attract young people, rather than relying on entirely new products / menu offerings.
