Olympic athletes are once again going viral on TikTok for their behind-the-scenes clips during the Winter Games.

Olympic athletes are once again going viral on TikTok for their behind-the-scenes clips during the Winter Games. YPulse told you how athletes’ Tokyo Olympics coverage was one of the most entertaining parts of the Summer Games for young consumers, and now that the Winter Games are in full swing, Olympic athletes are once again delighting TikTokers with behind-the-scenes clips, sports coverage, and more. Olympic snowboarders Maddie Mastro (21-years-old) and Tessa Maud (18-years-old) start their day by sharing their outfit of the day with viewers while taking them on a tour of their day-to-day life at the Olympic Village in Beijing—everything from their meals to the Village’s smart beds (definitely an upgrade from the Tokyo Olympics’ cardboard beds) to the “daily throat jab” athletes must undergo as part of the Games’ COVID-19 testing protocol. Snowboarder Shaun White’s TikTok coverage is also going viral for his behind-the-scenes videos and sharing Olympics traditions like collecting other teams’ pins after the opening ceremony, and Adam Rippon, Karen Chen, Hilary Knight, and Anna Hoffmann are some must-follow athletes as well. Our on-demand PULSE service found that 42% of young consumers plan to watch the Winter Olympics, but it’s looking like a lot more will be watching the social content created around it. (NYTPEOPLE)
