Disney’s Creators Lab wants to turn TikTokers and Instagrammers into House of Mouse influencers. The entertainment giant is recruiting 20 emerging social media influencers who are already creating Disney-inspired content on their platforms for the Disney Creators Lab—a three-month online program taking creators through courses covering branding, merchandising, creativity, monetization, and more. Among the creators are Melizza Black, who boasts 57,000 followers on her Disney-themed TikTok account, and Disney enthusiast Conner Lundius, who has 17,000 TikTok followers and often posts with Mickey Mouse ears from Disneyland. While Disney won’t directly pay creators participating in its program, creators will receive a trip to Walt Disney World and on a Disney Cruise Line in January. YPulse told you what online creators are influencing young consumers to do, and the Disney Creator Lab is one example of how companies can support influencers who are already promoting their brand.
