Cameo has added a feature that lets celebrities video chat with fans. Brands like Portillo’s, Infiniti, and Universal have been tapping Cameo to build hype while connecting fans with some of their favorite celebrities. Now, Cameo is introducing Cameo Calls, a new feature that currently lets 500 celebrities host live video chats (a.k.a. virtual meet-and-greets) with fans. Celebrities set the price and time duration (sadly, there’s a 15-minute max), and celebrities including James Phelps, Scott Evans, and Mya are already participating in the new feature. Meanwhile, Cameo co-founder and CEO is betting on Calls to “replace meet and greets at music festivals and world tours, fan conventions, sporting events, and more.” (Tubefilter)
