Netflix has started testing its first mobile game. The streaming-service revealed in a Twitter post that it’s officially testing two pre-existing Stranger Things games on the Netflix Android app—but only in Poland. While the games were released as their own standalone downloads previously, this is the first time a game will be accessible through Netflix’s app, setting the stage for the platform’s future gaming plans. Netflix noted that “it’s very, very early” and “we’ve got a lot of work to do in the months ahead,” and couldn’t help but tease the internet as young fans anxiously await the moment gaming will be added to the streaming service’s slew of content. YPulse’s gaming research found that 64% of young consumers consider themselves a gamer, and Netflix’s move into gaming could make the platform even more popular. (CNET)
