Ariana Grande is working with Better Help to provide $1 million worth of free therapy. As more celebrities and athletes open up about their mental health experiences, brands have started working with them to provide solutions. Ariana Grande announced her partnership with online counseling platform Better Help on Instagram noting, “therapy should not be for a privileged few but something everyone has access to.” Grande further explained that while this is not a long term fix for making mental health services accessible to all, it’s an opportunity to start putting more initiatives in place that support individuals’ experiences with mental health. YPulse’s State of Mind trend data shows that 54% of 13-39-year-olds say their mental health has been negatively impacted by Coronavirus, and therapy/counseling is just one activity Gen Z and Millennials are adopting as coping mechanisms.
