Poparazzi is ready to be the app of “Hot Vax Summer.” Poparazzi is a photo-sharing app with a catch—there’s no front-facing camera, so no #selfies. Thanks to the unique restrictions (only sharing pics of friends is technically allowed) the platform is being hyped up by Gen Z and venture capitalists as “the perfect app for Hot Vax Summer,” and debuted at the top of Apple’s App Store chart on Monday. YPulse told you that new apps have been rethinking photo and media sharing this year, and Poparazzi’s focus on taking pics of others is, according to the app’s developers, about encouraging “good vibes only” in their effort to make social media less self-centered and fun again.
