Brands could not BE any more excited for HBO Max’s Friends: The Reunion premiering today. Red Lobster, Ulta Beauty, and Lego are celebrating the reunion of one of Gen Z and Millennials’ favorite TV shows with product launches, exclusive menu items, and more. Nodding to several episodes from the series, Red Lobster is featuring a Rachel-inspired Vanilla Bean Cheesecake and more menu items inspired by the show’s characters; Ulta Beauty and Revolution Makeup launched Friends makeup sets (with a 30% off promo) with references to the show like “lobster,” “On a Break,” and Joey’s famous Japanese “Lipstick for men;” and Lego presented its new Friends apartment sets for the young and young-at-heart to build replicas of the show’s iconic apartments. Nestlé Toll House also named its original cookie recipe on its website to “Grandma Toulouse’s Secret Chocolate Chip Cookies” (a nod to the episode “The One with Phoebe’s Cookies”), with even more brands building excitement for the reunion in an effort to continue connecting with young consumers through branded merch.
