Degree is introducing a first-of-its-kind deodorant line for people with upper-limb disabilities. Degree is working closely with people who experience struggles with upper-limb mobility to develop new packaging that addresses their needs. The newly designed line is called Degree Inclusive and features a magnetic cap with a hook so it can be hung and easily removed, has secure grips on the sides for more stability, and includes a Braille label for vision-impaired consumers as well. YPulse’s Ad/Marketing Effectiveness research shows that 58% of Gen Z and Millennials think it’s positive when brands feature differently abled people in their ads, and while Degree deodorant’s new line is much more than a marketing tactic, inclusivity is an important part of reaching young consumers.
