Netflix is giving their kids’ profiles a more kid-friendly aesthetic. To make their platform more visually appealing to children, Netflix is redesigning kids’ profiles by displaying popular and recognizable characters from their favorite and most-watched shows. The revamped profiles will roll out to Netflix’s TV apps, and will be tested on phones and tablets in coming months. Netflix is young viewers’ favorite video streaming service, and our media consumption report found that 87% of parents say their child watches more content on streaming services than cable.
