| Summer travel is going to be big business this year. YPulse predicted that a roaring ‘20s experience was going to happen later this year as young consumers unleash their pent up wanderlust. According to a Toluna survey, Americans are gaining confidence to travel with each passing month—with 27% comfortable traveling in April and that number rising to 42% by July. Adara reported that domestic flight bookings in the U.S. for summer travel “sharply rose” earlier this month, and since the beginning of February, domestic hotel bookings have “more than tripled.” Meanwhile, international flights starting in the U.S. followed the same “upward trajectory” since mid-February. Honolulu, Denver, Chicago, Miami, and Orlando are among the most popular destinations that travelers are booking summer leisure flights too. (CNBC) |
