TikTok is reportedly the “most used” app among kids and teens in the U.S. According to a report from parent control app MMGuardian, young TikTok users are devoting more time to the app than any other. YouTube is still the most popular, with 69.7% of kids who use YouTube, versus 32% who use TikTok. But those TikTok users spend an average of 105.1 minutes on the app daily, surpassing the 102.6 minutes young YouTube users are spending daily. Daily use of these two apps far surpasses competitors, showing that “online videos rule the average child’s screen time.” YPulse’s social media monitor report shows that half of 13-17-year-old TikTok users use the app daily, and that 27% of Millennial parents say their kids use TikTok.
